CoWE Signs Biz Membership Agreement With SIDBI

Hyderabad: The Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs of India (CoWE), said it has signed an agreement with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), to become a recognised Business Membership Organisation (BMO). As a BMO, now CoWE and its MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) members, through referral arrangements, have access to credit and other financial services from SIDBI.

Sandhya Reddy, Founder Director, CoWE, signed the agreement with Chandramouli, General Manager, SIDBI, in the presence of Pavan Kumar, Executive Director, TGIIC; CoWE’s Board members Uma Gurkha, Madhu Tyagi, Chapter Presidents - Kalpana Rao, Telangana; Geetha Srikanth, Andhra Pradesh, and CEO Usha Paliath. With immediate effect, the programme is launched in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and later will expand in phases to other States. Under this initiative, MSMEs will get financial access, support for capacity building, and market linkages, according to a CoWE press release. “This partnership reflects SIDBI’s commitment to inclusive, balanced growth,” said Prakash Kumar, Deputy Managing Director, SIDBI.
